Prop B - Interactive Displays

Mansfield ISD is dedicated to providing technology that enhances student learning at each campus. The 2024 Bond will enable MISD to expand accessible technology and equip classrooms, libraries, and school conference rooms with the latest Interactive Panels.  The benefit of these digital tools in classrooms is the increase in engagement and visual learning as well as the versatility these devices offer in meeting the needs of diverse learners.

Project budgets can change during design, and completion dates are subject to change based on weather, materials availability, and contractor labor irregularities.

Progress:

  • Voters Approved BOND May 4, 2024 

  • Bond Sales for Phase 1 Completed June 25, 2024 

  • The Technology Department will start issuing Purchase Orders for Proposition A infrastructure by the end of July and into August for switches, fiber ring, and other components.
  • Proposition B’s interactive panels and digital signage will be issued as well.
  • Switches & WAP PO provided to vendors. Technology Department meeting with vendor & installer to go over schedule to begin installs.
  • Phone refresh meetings was held this month to work on product configuration.
  • Interactive panel install is almost complete.
