Evolv Express Weapons Detection Expansion

Evolv Express provides an additional layer of security to our secondary campuses and stadiums where traffic is more transient. The systems will deter and identify items of concerns prior to them making it on to the campus.  Through the bond package, we are able to expand this security measure beyond high schools and into middle schools and stadiums.

  • The construction budgets for the Bond Program encompass architect fees and all related expenses.

Project budgets can change during design, and completion dates are subject to change based on weather, materials availability, and contractor labor irregularities.

  • MISD’s guiding statements 3 and 4 state that students will graduate life, college and/or career ready, and students must have a safe environment to accomplish these goals.

  • Integrator contracted and materials ordered June 2024 

  • Evolv Express materials delivered July 2024 

  • Supplemental materials and construction in progress – Complete, Pending Camera Installation
