MISD Virtual College Fair 2020
We know the current school year, especially for seniors, has not started the way one would have anticipated. Colleges and universities have had to make major adjustments as well.
While many things look different right now, MISD wants all students to know we are committed to providing the best virtual experience possible while high school students search for their future college and university.
Mansfield ISD will host a virtual college fair for all interested high school students and their parents on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The annual event helps kick start the college decision-making process. Students will be able to communicate live with college representatives during the time slot of their choice:
- Tuesday, Oct. 20 | 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. // 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. // 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Students will also have an opportunity to virtually attend the college fair on Thursday, Oct. 22 during an all-access day (open to all registered students from any district) from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Getting the Most Out of the Virtual Experience
College representatives from across the nation will come together online during designated times so that students and parents can watch presentations, live chat and ask questions.
After registering, students will have access to explore the platform and the college booths at any time. A list of participating colleges and universities can be found on the college fair platform or by contacting your school counselor. View the video for information on how to navigate the virtual college fair and see instructions below for registering for the event.
Registering for the Virtual Fair
Students must register for the event and create an account for exploring the platform and accessing the fair. Please note, when registering, select the week of "Oct. 19-23 Fort Worth and El Paso" for the Mansfield ISD Virtual College Fair. There will NOT be an option listed as Mansfield ISD.
