Bridge Programs
Bridge programs provide students with both academic and social/emotional skills that are necessary to assist them in reaching their full potential in the upcoming school year.

Online Credit Acceleration (Grade 8)
Credit acceleration courses are online classes that provide students with the flexibility to complete course assignments as their schedule permits. These classes are not self-paced classes because a student may be penalized if he/she does not maintain a pace to complete the course in the designated time frame. However, students may work ahead in the course and possibly complete the course before the designated end-date. Credit Acceleration courses are not weighted and credit is not awarded as AP or Advanced.
Students are able to access accelerated credit courses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, students are only required to come to campus for mid-term and final exams during the summer. The Student Support Lab for students who need help accessing course work is available Monday through Thursday, June 9 – July 24. The schedule for the lab is Monday through Thursday in the Timberview HS Library from 8 a.m. - noon. Students will need to make arrangements to take midterms and final exams during the following dates.
- Semester I Midterms/Final Exams must be taken on or before June 23-26.
- Semester II Midterms/Final Exams must be taken on or before July 21-24.
Satisfactory pace is the daily pace required to complete the course by the designated end date. Example: If the course is scheduled for six weeks, then a student must complete 2.4% per day in order to complete the course on time. Pace is determined by a 7-day week and not the 4-day week for summer school. If a student does not maintain a satisfactory pace in the course, he/she will be required to attend the Student Support Lab until a satisfactory pace is obtained.
