Elementary School Summer Offerings

Summer school offers elementary school students an opportunity to participate in English proficiency and academic intervention programs to gather the skills necessary to be successful in the upcoming school term. We also offer extended educational programs and curriculum camps for students enrolled in special education.

Bilingual/ESL Services (Grades PK-K)

The Bilingual/ESL summer enrichment program is available for PreK and Kindergarten students currently receiving Bilingual/ESL services. This special summer program is designed to prepare students to be successful in Kindergarten and 1st grade.

*Kindergarten students who currently participate in our Two-Way Dual Language program (non-LEP) are also eligible to attend the PK/K Bilingual/ESL Summer Enrichment Program as a support for Spanish language acquisition.

Session Dates & Times –
- June 3 – June 24 (Monday - Friday)
- 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Location – Ponder Elementary School (101 Pleasant Ridge Drive, Mansfield, TX 76063)
Cost – Free
Register – Takes place at the student's home campus. Students must be bilingual or limited English proficient OR enrolled in the MISD Two-Way Dual Language program.
