Pre-K & Kindergarten Roundup

Pre-K kids in classroom setting

If your child will be entering pre-kindergarten or kindergarten during the 2020-21 school year, be sure to get them enrolled during Pre-K & Kindergarten Roundup from July 21 through August 11

Registering for School

Registration for your pre-k or kindergarten student is now open and can be done completely online. While online enrollment is highly encouraged, we understand that some may not be able to complete everything online. For those needing to complete the qualification process for free Pre-K and for those needing assistance turning in documents virtually, The Roundup is also offering in-person appointments during the three-week window.

  • Enroll your child online (must be completed)
    • What if I already enrolled my child online? If you have already completed online enrollment prior to July 21, you do not need to do anything else. Someone from the campus will contact you if any additional paperwork or action is needed (i.e. proof of residency, Pre-K qualification, etc.).
  • Call to request an in-person appointment starting July 21 (only if needed)
    • In-person appointments, held at the child's home campus, are primarily scheduled for those needing to qualify for free Pre-K and those having difficulty submitting documents online or via email.
    • Health protocols will be in place for all in-person appointments. Prescreenings will be conducted before attendees can enter the building and face coverings will be requested while in the building.

Required Documents for Registration

  1. Student’s Certified Birth Certificate (Order a certified birth certificate at Texas.gov)
  2. Student’s Shot Record
  3. Student’s Social Security Card
  4. Proof of Residency in the form of a current (within last 30 days) electric, gas, water bill or lease agreement. (No other documents will be accepted).
  5. Parent/Legal Guardian’s Government Issued Photo Identification

(NOTE: Pre-K students must be 4 years old by Sept. 1 and meet certain eligibility requirements.)
