Zoning Changes to Take Effect in 2025-26 School Year

On Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, the MISD Board of Trustees approved changes to the district’s attendance zones. The recommended changes followed six months of study and feedback from members of the Growth and Attendance Zones Committee.

The board also considered public input from a community meeting in June regarding the district’s projected growth, building capacities, building utilization and attendance zones.

The zoning changes will not take effect until the 2025-26 school year. View the full presentation including maps, current and projected enrollment numbers and other information here.
