Professional Learning

Professional learning begins with a week of preparation for all teachers and support staff before the official start of school. For the 2023-24 school term, teachers and all support staff will report back to work on Monday, Aug. 7.

Professional Development One-Stop Shop

Mansfield Training of Professionals (MTOP)

Mansfield Training of Professionals (MTOP), the district's orientation program for new professional staff, will be held at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts on:

  • August 1 - 3, 2023 | 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Staff Development Credit Equivalency

All professional employees may earn Staff Development Credit Equivalency (SDCE) for participation in professional development activities approved by your supervisor. MISD professional employees supporting curriculum, instruction and assessment must earn twelve hours of SDCE credit annually.

Professional Development Planning

If you have a training event that takes place during the school day AND requires a substitute, fill out the Professional Development Planning Form.
