Frequently Asked Questions

What ages does QUEST serve?

The program serves MISD pre-kindergarten (4 years old) through 6th grade students.

When does the program operate?

The QUEST program begins on the first day of school and operates on the same calendar as the district. The program does not operate on student holidays, staff development days, teacher workdays and holiday breaks.

Does my child have to attend five days a week?

A child may attend the program less than five days however, the weekly fee remains the same. No discounts will be offered for part-time programming.

Are scheduled / unscheduled drop ins allowed?

No. Unfortunately QUEST does not allow scheduled or unscheduled drop ins nor do we offer daily rates.

What happens if the district is closed or delayed due to inclement weather?

If schools are closed due to inclement weather or adverse conditions, QUEST sites will also be closed.

When schools have a delayed opening, QUEST sites will service after school only. If schools close early, the QUEST program will also be closed.

How do I register my child?

QUEST uses MySchoolBucks for enrollment and registration.

New users will need to setup an account. Existing account users can register with an existing MySchoolBucks account.

To get started, visit our QUEST Online Registration.

How soon can my child(ren) start attending?

Newly enrolled students must wait at least 24 business hours from the time of enrollment BEFORE they can attend the program. This safety precaution will help us ensure every school has the proper documentation for each student.

What is the instructor to student ratio?

1:20

How do I pay?

Parents/guardians are invoiced via email through the MySchoolBucks system.

How do I make CHANGES to my student's account or enrollment status?

Visit QUEST Tuition Selection Change for making changes to your student’s account or status. This includes changing morning or after care, etc.

What happens if I need to REMOVE my child(ren) from the program?

After removal, please allow five days for full cancellation of emails and invoice notifications to process through mySchoolBucks.

Snacks can only be sent if the student has a special dietary need due to medical or religious reasons. This must be noted on the enrollment packet.
