  • The Senior Class is having their annual door decorating contest from now until December 12th and this year’s theme is holiday songs! The prize for the winning group can be cookies and hot chocolate, pajama passes, or even both! In order to join this contest, you will need a teacher to sign your group up and sponsor your door. Make sure to join this fun contest and may the best door win!
  • Students if you are planning to request a schedule change for the 2nd semester, you will need to go by the counseling office and pick up a spring schedule change request form.   Please know that all submitted schedule change request will be considered, but that does not guarantee it will be approved.   Schedule change request forms are due to the counseling office by Wednesday, December 12th. Late request will not be considered
  • Seniors, the Mansfield ISD Multi Scholarship is application is open!  The deadline is Feb 22, 2019. The application is available on the Mansfield ISD website, the MHS website and the MHS Counseling Center website.
  • Come out to Mooyah on Tuesday, December 4 from 4-8 PM for a spirit night for Tigers Untamed! The profits will help us purchase fan supplies for all outside athletic events! Come out and show that Tiger spirit, and don’t forget to say you’re there for the fundraiser!
  • Congratulations to the Lady Tiger Basketball teams.  The varsity Lady Tigers traveled to Katy, Tx over the weekend and notched victories over 2 tough Houston teams.  Sophomore Zarria Carter averaged 15 points per game in the tournament. Senior guard, Nia Johnson, also added valuable points and minutes to the tournament.  The JV and 9th grade teams competed in the Burleson Tournament, both adding to their win columns.  The Lady Tigers will travel to Azle tonight…games starting at 5pm. Good Luck, ladies!
  • Attention members of the Leading Ladies Club - Just A Friendly Reminder  – Adopt A Child Info. Meeting. We will meet during advisory today, Mon. 12/3 and tomorrow, Tues 12/4, in the DLL by the ramp going toward the cafeteria for info regarding our Adopt A Child. You can select which day works for you. We hope to see you there!
  • Robotics Competed in the first tournament of the season on Saturday. They competed in 6 matches and were undefeated. Congratulations and good luck in your next tournament.
  • Current dual credit students:   Spring tuition is now due for the TCC classes you will be taking next semester.  Please see the bookkeeper to pay for your class. The fee is $65 per class. If you are taking a different class in the spring than you are taking now,  you will need to return your current textbook and once tuition is paid – you will be able to pick up a new textbook. Again, payment is now being accepted and the deadline is January 11
  • Make sure to come to African Student Association’s Meeting after school today in W-15. Do it for the culture!
  • Please congratulate these amazing Cadets as they competed against 35 JROTC Programs from Texas and Oklahoma on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the SOUTH GRAND PRAIRIE SHOOT-OUT INVITATIONAL DRILL MEET in bringing home the following trophies!!!! As always congratulations to them all for doing an outstanding job!!!

Next Drill Meet will be San Antonio, Texas 5th Brigade Championship competing against the best Army JROTC Programs in Eight States to qualify for the Army Nationals in Richmond Virginia.


  • This last weeks Varsity Bowling Team received 15 points making Mansfield High still in 1st place in our District, giving us a total of 40 points total, with Legacy in second place with 27 points total.  JV also received 15 points making Mansfield High 1st place in our district and giving us a total of 28 points with Legacy in second place with 16 points total.

  • Letter Jacket sizing will be this Wednesday, Dec. 5,  in the cafeteria during all lunches. If you qualify please see your coach to pick up a packet to order.
  • The Tiger Boys Basketball team would like to invite you out tonight to their home game vs. Arlington Seguin.  The Varsity is off to a 9-4 start, and we have 3 home games in a row starting tonight. The JV and Freshman A and B teams are also in action tonight.  So, come on out and support your Tiger Boys Basketball team tonight as we take on Arlington Seguin at 7:30 pm. Go Tigers.

  • Congratulations to MHS TAFE! They took 33 students to Regionals this last weekend and all 33 students are advancing to State in February. In the events that are advancing to state that have a chance of competing at Nationals, we had six students place 1st and two place 2nd. Congratulations on all of your hard work!
  • All TCC students - Please remember the week of December 17th -20th your TCC Classes will be in the Library. Make sure to be there or you will be marked absent. The only way you can leave during this time is with a pass from a teacher.
  • TCC students this is a reminder, please turn in your FIRST semester books to Mr. Pollards office.   
  • Hey, Tigers! The Class of 2022 is having a Gingerbread Cookie Decorating fundraiser during Advisory next week!  They will be selling tickets at every lunch for $3. It’s open to everyone, so grab your $3 ticket soon before it sells out!
