Daily Announcements for the Week of September 10, 2018

  • Interact Club will meet on Wednesday, September 12th at 3 pm in the counseling office. Interact Club works with the Mansfield Rotary Club to complete community service projects throughout the year. All students are welcomed to join. If you have any questions, please stop by and see Mrs. Julius in the counseling office.
  • The Saturday School on Tuesday, Sept 11th has been moved to Thursday, Sept, 13th from 3-7pm.
  • Oklahoma Baptist University representatives will be NOT here Monday. They plan to reschedule for a later date.
  • Seniors-- A representative from Midwestern State will be here tomorrow (Tuesday) during 6th and 7th blocks in S-217.  He will waive the application fee to the university for seniors who attend the presentation.  If you can’t miss your 6th or 7th block class, come by S-217 during your lunch if you are interested.

  • Attention Fishing Club Members! All paid participants/Fishing Club Members should pick up a Rules packet located in the blue folder on the outside of the door, room S-216. We have a meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12 right after school.
  • The JROTC Department will be hosting a brief 9-11 Remembrance Flag Pole Ceremony in the morning at 7:05. They are inviting the entire faculty and student body to attend. See you there.
  • This week's theme is Fade to Black Out:

Monday - wear all white

Tuesday- pastel perfect - baby pink, blue or yellow

Wednesday - Camo Day

Thursday - Galaxy Day- dark, blues, purples and stars, like the night sky Friday - black out wear all black or your black out shirt!!

Friday- Black Out shirts (available on Tuesday during lunches. We ordered extra so come get one while they last!!!)

  • Have you ever wanted to throw something at a teacher? Well today is your day!! Student Council is hosting “Pie Your Teacher/Prinicipal Day” - During all lunches you can throw a “pie” at a teacher or administrator for $1.00, $2.00 or 5.00.  The more you pay… the closer you get!!

  • Don’t forget to pick up your BlackOut shirts today – We still have some available for purchase!! Some sizes are running out – its first come first served.

  • We will be on Pep Rally Schedule this Friday. Make sure to get here on time if you have Senior Late Arrival. 2nd block will begin at 8:50. Don’t be late.

  • Students who need to make up hours for last year’s absence failures or need to serve a discipline consequence of Saturday School …We are having after school d-hall today in Mr. Sudbury’s room from 3:15 until 7:15 in room, T222. Perfect opportunity for those who cannot or just do not want to give up a Saturday morning.

  • Students- if you are tardy to more than one class in the same day….you will be sent to AC. Don’t be late for school and get to all classes on time!

  • The University of Arkansas, Oklahoma City University and University of Oklahoma will be here on Wednesday, September 19th to share what their colleges have to offer. Stop by the tables during lunch to check ‘em out!
