Nineteen of Mansfield ISD’s schools made the list of U.S. News’s Best in Texas for 2024. That included 10 elementary schools, four intermediate and five middle schools.
The K-8 rankings are based on publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education. Schools were assessed based on student proficiency in math and reading, as measured by state assessment tests, while factoring in socioeconomic demographics. According to U.S. News, the top-ranked schools are marked by their success in educating all of their students.
“This is quite an honor to be named among our state’s best schools,” said Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu. “We are proud of the work our teachers and staff are doing to ensure students are life, career and college ready.”
