All Mansfield ISD students who are enrolled in Tarrant County College (TCC) dual credit courses for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters won’t pay for tuition, saving students up to $115 per course. The TCC Board of Trustees approved waiving tuition for all dual credit students during their August meeting. 

Through the district’s dual credit program, high school students who meet specific criteria may take up to three college courses during a regular school term. The dual credit program allows students to begin earning college credit as early as tenth grade.  

Currently, 1,100 students are enrolled in dual credit courses.  

"We are excited for students and families, and we appreciate our continued partnership with TCC,” said Associate Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Accountability Jennifer Young. “Waiving the fees is making it even easier for students to reach their goal of becoming life, college, and career ready before they graduate.”
