Timberview High School’s girls track team also earned enough points to finish in second place overall in the conference.

Legacy High School’s Christine Mallard came home with a gold and silver medal. She finished first in the 5A 400-meter race and second place in the 200-meter race.

Lake Ridge High School’s 4x400 boys relay team took home a silver medal in the event. Jayden Blakey, Jacob Alexander, Chris Akins and Dominic Byles are the members of that state runner-up relay team. Timberview High School’s Taylor Fingers earned a silver medal in long jump as well.

Bronze medal winners included Mansfield High School’s Nathan Breese and Timberview High School’s Glennis Woolridge. Breese earned the medal in the 400-meter wheelchair event. Woolridge earned her third-place finish in shot put.
