School Board Appoints Former Trustee to Place 7
A former Mansfield ISD school board member has returned to fill the seat that was left vacant after Courtney Lackey Wilson resigned.
The Board of Trustees approved to appoint Darrell Sneed to the Place 7 seat at the school board meeting on July 27. His term will expire in May 2022.
Sneed previously held the Place 6 seat. He left the school board in 2020 when he chose not to run for re-election.
The school board’s decision to appoint Sneed back onto the board is effective immediately.
