Two Mansfield ISD School Board seats are on the ballot for the runoff election on June 5.
The runoff is between the top two finishers for Place 2 and Place 4 in the May 1 general election since none of those candidates took the majority. A majority happens when a candidate receives more than 50% of the votes.
Incumbent Desiree Thomas and Yolanda McPherson will be vying for the Place 2 seat. The runoff for Place 4 is between Keziah Valdes Farrar and Corinne Fiagome.
Early voting will be held May 24 through June 1 for the runoff election.
The Place 1 seat was also up for election on May 1. Incumbent Michelle Newsom won the majority of votes with 72%. The votes were canvassed on May 11.
