MISD Expands Access to School Board Business

Mansfield ISD is launching a new video series to keep the community informed about what’s happening at school board meetings. Each month, we’ll publish a new video recapping the business that took place as part of the district’s commitment to maintaining open communication and transparency within the MISD community.

The March Board Briefs video includes recognitions that celebrate students from kindergarten to high school who are doing great work in their classrooms and extracurricular activities. The board also recognized several departments who received state, national and international accolades.

MISD’s Department of Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability presented on Cadence of Accountability – which is the district’s system of monitoring goals and the work that goes into them to provide the best outcomes for students.

The Communications & Marketing Department shared all the ways they support our district by providing informational and crisis communications as well as telling stories about the great things happening in the district.

If you missed this month’s meeting and would like to know more, you can check out the board agenda or watch the entire meeting on the Board Meetings and Agendas page.

Board meetings are open to the public with regular business beginning at 7 p.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts.
