Mansfield ISD earned national recognition for excellence in school communication.
The MISD Communications and Marketing Team won four Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).
The awards recognize outstanding education publications and marketing or informational materials (print and electronic), video/TV/radio programs, social media and websites. Public and private schools and districts from across the nation submitted their work to be judged by industry professionals.
The top award in each category is the Award of Excellence. Mansfield ISD earned three of those top awards for its redesigned website, the #WeAreMISDStrong video and the district’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols video.
MISD also received an Honorable Mention Award for its Feature Friday blog.
"To be recognized at the national level among the best of the best for successful communication efforts is an honor," said Donald Williams, associate superintendent of communications and marketing. "Our team works extremely hard to communicate to our stakeholders and to promote the many ways in which Mansfield ISD is a great place to live, learn and teach. This award is a testament of the work being done. It's a very proud moment for us all."
The achievement will be recognized at the NSPRA 2021 National Seminar in New Orleans, which will take place July 11-14. In addition, MISD will receive a plaque and certificate for earning such top distinctions.
