Mansfield ISD is seeking volunteers to serve on the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council (DEIC) for a two-year term (2024-2026). The DEIC reviews the district’s educational plans, goals, performance objectives and major instructional programs. The council includes staff, parents, business representatives and community members from across the district.
At this time, the district has openings for (3) volunteers to replace outgoing council members:

(1) Community Member
(1) Business Owner
Interested applicants should be prepared to attend monthly meetings throughout the school year. The first meeting is set for Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts at 1110 W. Debbie Ln., Mansfield, TX 76063.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the council, please complete this short questionnaire by Sept. 9 by 4:30 p.m. Volunteers will be chosen at random and notified by email on Sept. 10.
