Mansfield ISD is seeking input from its stakeholders to help determine how the district should potentially spend the federal dollars being provided through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) Fund.

The U.S. Department of Education is giving the relief grant to school systems in an effort to respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and address student learning loss as a result of it.

MISD has applied to receive some of that funding and is wanting the community’s valuable feedback on funding needs.

Take the survey here. Participants should complete the survey no later than Thursday, June 3.

Please note that ESSER III is a one-time grant. Districts are advised to prioritize one-time purchases that will not have an adverse effect on future budget cycles.
