Mansfield ISD is one of just 63 school districts in the state named to the Educational Results Partnership’s 2024 Honor Roll of top performing school districts in Texas. Of those, just three districts in Tarrant County received that honor. That places MISD in the top 9 percent of all eligible districts in the state.
“We are honored our educators and students are being recognized for the excellence they strive for every day,” said superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu. “It is an affirmation that we are meeting our goal to ensure every graduate leaves Mansfield ISD life, career and college ready.”
The Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll recognizes top public schools in Texas that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations. The campaign engages business leaders in recognizing successful districts that are preparing students with the fundamental skills needed to be successful in the workforce and in life.
In addition to the district-wide recognition, the Educational Results Partnership also named individual campuses within top-performing districts to the 2024 Texas Honor Roll. The honorees in MISD are Frontier STEM Academy, Early College High School at Timberview, Brooks Wester Middle School, Elizabeth Academy, Roberta Tipps Academy, Martha Reid Academy, Cora Spencer Elementary School, Nancy Neal Elementary School, Brenda Norwood Elementary School, Mary Orr Intermediate School, Mary Lillard Intermediate School, and Alma Martinez Intermediate School.
Results are based on data from student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) for the 2022 through 2024 academic years.
