To provide Mansfield ISD families more opportunities in early childhood education, the district will be expanding its tuition-based prekindergarten (pre-K) campuses beginning in the 2021-22 school year.
MISD’s tuition-based pre-K program is for children who are 4 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year and who do not qualify for the free federally-funded pre-K program nor the Early Childhood Special Education program (ECSE).
In addition to the current tuition-based pre-K class locations at J.L. Boren Elementary School (full day) and Sarah K. Jandrucko Academy for Early Learner (half day), the new tuition-based pre-K locations are below.
FULL DAY (8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
- Erma Nash Elementary School
- Nancy Neal Elementary School
- Annette Perry Elementary School
- Tarver Rendon School of Agricultural Leadership
- Mary Jo Sheppard Elementary School
- Roberta Tipps STEAM Academy
HALF DAY (8 to 11:10 a.m. OR 12:20 to 3:30 p.m.)
- Carol Holt Elementary School
- Alice Ponder Elementary School
- Elizabeth Smith Innovative Learning Academy
These tuition-based seats will open on Monday, Aug. 2. For more information about enrollment opportunities at a campus listed, please contact the campus directly. Please note that enrollment into a tuition-based pre-K program is based upon availability at the campus.
Transportation is not provided for the tuition-based pre-K program. Parents and guardians will need to make arrangements to take and pick-up students from school daily.
