Mansfield ISD Closed Remainder of Week Due to Inclement Weather
Snowflake Icon

In response to the historic weather event sweeping across the state causing freezing temperatures, dangerous driving conditions and rolling power outages, Mansfield ISD will remain closed on Wednesday, Feb. 17,  Thursday, Feb. 18 and Friday, Feb. 19.

There will be no in-person or virtual classes on these days, and all after-school activities and practices will be canceled.

The weather has also caused some damage to MISD buildings and cut off amenities to a few schools. MISD crews have been working very hard to remedy these issues.

Please note that this situation is continuing to develop. The district will continue to monitor the situation and remain in communication with the National Weather Service and local city municipalities to stay up to date about the weather and road conditions.

If there is a change in school scheduling for Monday, it will be communicated no later than Sunday afternoon to allow parents/guardians time to make the appropriate accommodations.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience. Please avoid any unnecessary travel in this inclement weather. Stay safe and warm.
