During this coronavirus pandemic, the way teachers teach may look a little different, but their passion remains the same.
Teachers change the lives of millions of children every day, and their work and impact extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
That is why every year during the first full week of May, the nation takes time out to recognize teachers for the critical role they play in educating and shaping our future leaders.
National Teacher Appreciation Week 2020 is May 4-8, and Mansfield ISD would like to thank all of our educators for their selfless work and dedication.
“Never has there been a time more appropriate than right now to honor and celebrate our teachers," said Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu. “For the past couple of months, they’ve taken their lessons and their love and moved both of those to online learning; and they’ve done it in record time. I just want to thank all teachers for the work they do for our kids each and every day. Their kindness, generosity, passion and dedication to the students of Mansfield ISD is so very appreciated.”
MISD employs more than 2,100 teachers. All of them are integral to the learning process of the students.
