Mansfield ISD Announces New Compensation Plan for 2022-23
Compensation Plan

Mansfield ISD has set its 2022-23 compensation plan, and it includes raises for all employees.

The plan is meant to keep the district competitive in order to attract and retain the best educators. The highlights of the compensation plan are:

  • A starting teacher salary of $60,500.
  • Teachers, nurses and librarians with one to 20 years of experience will receive a raise of 4% of the midpoint.
  • Teachers, nurses and librarians with 21 or more years of experience will receive a raise of 4% of their actual salary.
  • All other employees will receive a raise of 4% of their pay grade’s midpoint.

“Over the last year, we have made positive adjustments to our compensation for paraprofessionals, custodians, student nutrition staff and substitute teachers,” explained MISD Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu. “In a time where educators are facing more challenges than ever, we wanted our compensation plan to be competitive for attracting new teachers, but also to provide raises for all employees in an effort to celebrate, honor and retain those educators who have been faithfully serving MISD students.”

These raises will go into effect for the 2022-23 school year. For more details about the 2022-23 compensation plan, please email hrcompensation@misdmail.org.
