During remote online learning (Aug. 12 - Sept. 4), the MISD Student Nutrition department will provide healthy and delicious meals through a weekly curbside service to all Mansfield ISD students.

The meal bundles, priced based upon the student's eligibility, starts on Thursday, Aug. 13 with a special meal service being offered on the first day of school. (On Wednesday, Aug. 12, Student Nutrition will offer a curbside breakfast and hot lunch for the student's first day.)

Following the first day of school, the packaged meals will be distributed in a drive-thru fashion every Thursday during two convenient time slots, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., at the following locations:

  • Glenn Harmon Elementary School
  • D.P. Morris Elementary School
  • Annette Perry Elementary School
  • Mary Jo Sheppard Elementary School
  • Della Icenhower Intermediate School
  • Lake Ridge High School

Families can visit any of the participating sites during the time slot that is most convenient for them. No one will need to exit their personal vehicles; but if the child is not present, families must be prepared to provide Mansfield ISD identification.

Each meal bundle will include five breakfast meals, five lunch meals and a gallon of milk. One of the meals will be prepared hot, and the remaining meals will be designed to bake at home. The meal bundles and first day meal service are free for students who qualify for the federally funded free meal program.
