Colors for Caring Day Begins Sept. 10!

Cancer affects millions of people each year, and Mansfield ISD wants each person affected to know they do not stand alone.

MISD is continuing its Colors for Caring initiative to visibly show community support for a loved one who is battling or has battled cancer.

On the first Monday of each month in the 2018-19 school year, Mansfield ISD is encouraging the community to wear a color that represents a cancer that affected the life of a loved one. (View a cancer color chart here.)

The Colors for Caring Days for 2018-19 are:

  • Monday, September 10
  • Monday, October 1
  • Monday, November 5
  • Monday, December 3
  • Monday, January 14
  • Monday, February 4
  • Monday, March 4
  • Monday, April 1
  • Monday, May 6

Be sure to share your Colors for Caring pictures by emailing them to info@misdmail.org or using the hashtag #ColorsforCaring on social media.

All of your #ColorsforCaring photos will be added to the district’s photo gallery.

We look forward to everyone’s participation!
