Board Election Results in Win for Incumbent and Newcomer
The unofficial results are in for the June 5 runoff election in which two Mansfield ISD School Board seats were on the ballot.
For Place 2, incumbent Desiree Thomas won the majority of votes with 56%. The Place 4 race ended with Keziah Valdes Farrar taking 51% of the votes for the win.
Results are not official until votes are canvassed. The canvassing of votes will occur on Tuesday, June 15 at 7 a.m. Board members will be sworn in at the next regular board meeting on June 22.
