Dear Parents,
Our 4th graders have been rockin’ out in the music room lately.  Of course, I’m sure you’ll agree that they always “rock”, but you are really in for a show when they present, “Dragons World Tour!”, a musical medley of a little “old school”, a little “new school”, and everything in between.  Feel free to sing along! The program will take place on Monday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m. at the Willie Pigg Auditorium (behind Brooks Wester Middle School), 1520 N Walnut Creek Drive.  To ensure the success of this performance, I am requesting that students arrive by 6:00 p.m. that evening in order to prepare for the program.  Students should dress in “celebrity” attire from any era.  They can dress like a famous rock star, country star, hip-hop star, etc.; someone from the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, etc.; or just rock out in a musical t-shirt and jeans.  Feel free to be creative and accessorize with hats, jewelry, glasses, and such as long as they will enhance and not detract from the performance.
