To apply to become an MISD substitute, the following steps must be completed:
STEP 1: Complete an Online Substitute Application.
- New account users must create a FastTrack profile. Select "Substitute District Wide" from the list of open positions. Click the "Apply for Selected Position(s)" button and fill out the create a profile section.
- Existing account users can login and select "Substitute District Wide" from the list of open positions. Click the "Apply for Selected Position(s)" button and fill in the login section.
STEP 2: Complete the Substitute Orientation Process.
- Select ONE of the three orientation options below and click on "Get started" to complete the remaining steps.
New Substitute Orientation
Accepting Applications July 1, 2022 - May 5, 2023
Non-Certified Brand New Applicants and Former Substitutes
Brand new substitutes to Mansfield ISD or substitutes who have not worked within MISD for the past two years.

Returning Substitute Orientation
Accepting Applications July 1, 2022 - May 5, 2023
Previous Employees and Returning Substitutes
Previous MISD employees that retired or resigned in good standing with the district within the last two years;
Previous MISD Substitutes that have not completed a returning substitute orientation within the last two school years.

Certified Teacher Substitute Orientation
Accepting Applications July 1, 2022 - May 12, 2023
Certified teachers
Texas certified teachers with a standard, probationary or intern teaching certificate.
