Current MISD Student Transfers

Transportation: Not provided for transfer students who live in the district.
One Transfer Per Year: Families may submit only one transfer request per per student per school year.
All transfers requests are reviewed in the order received.
Application Process: Transfer requests for students in grades K-12 who live in the district must be submitted via the application button below.
Reapplication Not Required: If the student is already on an approved transfer AND plans to continue at the same campus, no new application is needed.
Verification and Approval: Families will receive email verification of approval or denial before the new school year begins.
- If approved, families should take the approval form to the campus during enrollment, schedule pick-up, etc. for the next school year.

Transfer Requests: Parents wishing to transfer a Pre-K student who lives in the district to another campus should contact AlycenPhan@MISDmail.org for assistance.
- Pre-K students must meet eligibility requirements at their home campus before requesting a transfer.
- Tuition-based Pre-K students do not require a transfer request if remaining at their home campus.

Applications for intra-district transfers for the the 2025-2026 school year closed on April 1, 2025. The button below will be re-activated in 2026.
