Special Populations

Mansfield ISD is full of diverse learners, each with their own unique educational and personal needs and circumstances.

MISD Special Populations comprises Special Education, Dyslexia, Section 504, Language Acquisition and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). These special populations of students may be in need of more advanced instruction and targeted support to ensure equal opportunity for success in an educational setting. 

Our division works with all learners to ensure they are given the unique opportunities they need to succeed on campus and thrive in life. We do that by providing high-quality professional development and helping support programs on campuses to ensure all of the special populations on our campuses are fully supported.
