Curriculum

There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to social-emotional learning.

The MISD SEL Department provides curriculum by grade level based upon core competencies. Different topics along with individual lessons are presented with each competency.

Lessons are designed to be taught twice a week in whatever order the facilitator wishes to within a six-week timeframe.
