High School Cheerleading

The Cheer/Mascot Constitution

The high school cheer program, governed by the district's cheer and mascot constitution, begins with a series of orientation meetings followed by the submission of required documentation at the district and campus level by noted deadlines. Review the Mansfield ISD cheer/mascot constitution.

Parent Meetings / Clinics & Tryouts

Parent Meetings
Parent informational meetings are held annually to discuss major aspects of the cheer program. While attendance at these meetings is not required, it is strongly encouraged as meetings also cover the application and tryout process and address common questions about the program.

  • Lake Ridge HS - Jan. 11, 2022 // 7 p.m. // LRHS Library
  • Mansfield HS - Jan. 18, 2022 // 6:30 p.m. // Teams Live
  • Summit HS - Jan. 10, 2022 // 7 p.m. // SHS Lecture Hall
  • Timberview HS - Jan. 10, 2022 // 6:30 p.m. // THS Library

Clinics and Tryouts
Clinics are held annually in the spring to prepare and teach interested candidates aspects of the cheerleading program in preparation for tryouts.

The 2022-23 cheer clinics will be held March 21-24, 2022. Tryouts will be held at Timberview High School on March 25-26.
