Educational equity is the act of all children receiving what he or she needs to develop to their full academic and social potential.

Therefore, we have been charged with helping to ensure we are providing an inclusive and responsive environment that fosters achievement, physical and emotional safety and respect for all while preparing students to be productive global citizens.

The role of the Executive Director of Elementary and Equity is to serve as an internal equity consultant of the district, helping to promote and sustain educational equity for all students, staff and stakeholders.

The Advisory Council was formed to provide support, feedback and guidance about issues related to educational equity throughout Mansfield ISD. More information about the council is available here.

Mansfield ISD’s curriculum does not support or promote critical race theory or any political agenda or viewpoint. The goal is to provide educational equity for all students. We are committed to making sure that all children receive the education and services they need to develop their full academic and social potential regardless of socioeconomic status, ability, race, gender, etc.

Mansfield ISD does not have an equity curriculum. The Executive Director of Elementary and Equity collaborates with the curriculum department to ensure all students are receiving what they need to develop their full potential.
