Dual Credit

Earn College Credit in High School

Dual Credit allows students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time. Mansfield ISD partners with multiple colleges and universities to offer a variety of programs for our students to begin earning college credit at a reduced rate.

The MISD dual credit program allows students to begin earning college credit as early as 10th grade at a reduced rate.

Classes @ TCC

The program, offered at MISD during the regular school term, exposes students to the rigors of college life while working towards the goal of achieving a bachelor's degree and limiting student debt.

Students may take up to three courses during the fall and spring semesters. These courses are offered at a special MISD reduced rate. For students wishing to continue courses over the summer, classes are offered at Tarrant County College - Southeast Campus (TCC SE). Tuition, fees and textbooks for summer courses are at the student's expense and are not eligible for the MISD reduced rate.

If you have any additional questions, your campus guidance counselor is an excellent resource for assistance with dual credit.
