Dual Credit

Earn College Credit in High School

Dual Credit allows students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time. Mansfield ISD partners with multiple colleges and universities to offer a variety of programs for our students to begin earning college credit at a reduced rate.

The MISD dual credit program allows students to begin earning college credit as early as 10th grade at a reduced rate.

Classes @ TCC

The program, offered at MISD during the regular school term, exposes students to the rigors of college life while working towards the goal of achieving a bachelor's degree and limiting student debt.

Students may take up to three courses during the fall and spring semesters.  These courses are not offered at no cost to students.  For students whishing to continue courses over the summer, classes are offered at Tarrant County College- Southeast Campus (TCC SE).  Courses taken within the course agreement will be free of charge.  Any courses taken outside of the agreement will be at the student’s expense and will not yield dual credit.

If you have any additional questions, your campus guidance counselor is an excellent resource for assistance with dual credit.
