The Mansfield ISD Heartbeat Award, created in January 2003, recognizes employees who display heart in their lives and inspire other district employees through their actions.
In November 2021, the award was revamped to include a $250 award from Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) along with employee recognition at a school board meeting. Two winners will be named and awarded each fall and each spring.
Nominations for the fall round of awards are due on Friday, Nov. 19 by noon. (You must be an MISD employee to submit a nomination.)
EECU is a not-for-profit credit union owned by its 250,000+ members. Established in 1934 by a group of Fort Worth teachers and administrators, the financial institution has thrived on its commitment towards delivering value and supporting the communities it serves while giving its members everything they expect from a banking company.
Staff members who are nominated and/or receive The Heartbeat Award are not disqualified from other district honors.
