Frequently Asked Questions

What ages does QUEST serve?

The program serves MISD pre-kindergarten (4 years old) through 6th grade students.

When does the program operate?

The QUEST program begins on the first day of school and operates on the same calendar as the district. The program does not operate on student holidays, staff development days, teacher workdays and holiday breaks.

Does my child have to attend five days a week?

A child may attend the program less than five days however, the weekly fee remains the same. No discounts will be offered for part-time programming.

Are scheduled / unscheduled drop ins allowed?

No. Unfortunately QUEST does not allow scheduled or unscheduled drop ins nor do we offer daily rates.

What happens if the district is closed or delayed due to inclement weather?

If schools are closed due to inclement weather or adverse conditions, QUEST sites will also be closed.

When schools have a delayed opening, QUEST sites will service after school only. If schools close early, the QUEST program will also be closed.

How do I register my child?

Register your child on EZChildTrack.com.

How soon can my child(ren) start attending?

A student is not considered registered until the application is approved and a confirmation of approval is sent to the parent. All accounts must be in good standing in order to register.

What is the instructor to student ratio?

1:20

How do I pay?

Parents/guardians are invoiced via email. QUEST employees working at centers are NOT allowed to accept payment in any form. All payments must be applied online using EZChildTrack.

How do I make CHANGES to my student's account or enrollment status?

All changes to must be using EZChildTrack.com.

What happens if I need to REMOVE my child(ren) from the program?

If a parent/guardian decides to withdraw his/her child from the program, the parent must provide at least two weeks notice. Failure to provide such notice will result in the charge of the normal tuition rate for those weeks.

Will my child receive a snack at QUEST?

Yes, an afternoon snack and drink is provided to each participant.

Can I send snacks with my child(ren)?

Snacks can only be sent if the student has a special dietary need due to medical or religious reasons. This must be noted on the enrollment packet.

Are personal belongings allowed?

We strongly discourage students from bringing personal items to programming. QUEST is not responsible for personal items that are lost, damaged or stolen.

How do I add individuals to the list for pick up/release?

Please submit your changes using the EZChildTrack system

NOTE: All individuals must be able to provide photo identification at the time of pick up.

Who do I notify if my child(ren) will be absent?

Notify both the QUEST office via email at quest@misdmail.org AND the site supervisor at the respective campus. School faculty is not responsible for notifying QUEST of absences.

Do I have to sign my child in and out?

Yes, each participant must be accompanied by an authorized adult during morning check in and after school pick up. Children are not allowed to sign themselves in/out.

Always bring a photo ID with you. Those picking up children should be prepared to show identification to the QUEST staff upon request.
