Community Relations
Mansfield ISD values its many community partners for their ongoing support of the district, our schools and students.
The district serves the community by hosting the following events and programs:
- Realtor Event - a complimentary breakfast event each fall and spring to build mutually beneficial relationships with local real estate industry professionals.
- MISD Leadership Academy - a group of 50 parents and community members will complete this comprehensive program each year. The “class” would be selected based upon nominations from principals and district leaders. The program will consist of five 2 to 3 hour sessions with each session focusing on a different area of district operation.
- Senior Tour - a free hands-on tour highlighting the district for our senior citizens 55 years of age and older in the community.
- Gold Card Program - a program in which senior citizens 65 years of age and older can receive free admission to district athletic events, theatre productions and musical productions.

The distribution of non-school-related materials is not permitted at school campuses and departments.
As a service to MISD students, parents, and community, the district provides the Peachjar Community Folder for non-school groups or organizations to post information that may be of interest or a benefit to students and families. This method of communication is not only convenient to our parents and community, but also supports the district's ongoing efforts to be more environmentally-friendly and save resources.
