Open Enrollment
2025-26 Benefits Open Enrollment will be held July 14 – August 12, 2025. Plan year begins 09/01/2025.
During annual enrollment, all employees are strongly encouraged to review and renew their benefits.
All benefits will be rolled over to match current (2024-25) benefits with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Dependent Care. Employees currently enrolled in FSA and Dependent Care are required to re-enroll for the 2025-26 school term. These options do not roll over each year.
Insurance changes will NOT be allowed after the enrollment period ends unless there is a qualifying event.
What's New and What's Changed as of 09/01/2025
- The telehealth carrier is transitioning from MDLIVE to Recuro. Same benefits. The monthly rate will decrease to $12.
- The Voluntary Group Life Insurance carrier is transitioning from One America to Lincoln Financial Group. During the 2025-2026 enrollment period, you may elect coverage up to the guaranteed issue amounts without answering health questions. (All amounts over the guaranteed issue will require medical underwriting.) Guaranteed Issue - Employee: $300,000; Spouse: $50,000; Child: $10,000 Rates remain the same. No need to enroll if you are happy with your current coverage.
- Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D). The carrier is transitioning from One America to Lincoln Financial Group.
- During the 2025-2026 enrollment period, 5 Star (Individual Life Insurance) is offering guaranteed issue coverage, including the Long-Term Care (LTC) Rider, which provides monthly benefits if you need help with daily living activities.Guaranteed Issue - Employee: $100,000; Spouse: $30,000; Child: $10,000
- Cigna remains our dental provider. However, there will be a 6% rate increase.

- Starting July 14, the call center will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Calls are recorded and bilingual assistance is available.
- In-person enrollment assistance at the Dr. Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts (1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063)
- July 22–24 and July 28–31 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Spanish assistance will be available on Tuesday, July 29.
