Open Enrollment
2024-25 Benefits Open Enrollment will be held July 15 – August 13, 2024. Plan year begins 09/01/2024.
During annual enrollment, all employees are strongly encouraged to review and renew their benefits.
All benefits will be rolled over to match current (2023-24) benefits with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Dependent Care. Employees currently enrolled in FSA and Dependent Care are required to re-enroll for the 2024-25 school term. These options do not roll over each year.
Insurance changes will NOT be allowed after the enrollment period ends unless there is a qualifying event.
What's New and What's Changed
As of 09/01/2024 Baylor Scott & White HMO health plan will no longer be available. Members enrolled in BSW HMO will be transferred to the TRS-ActiveCare Primary Plus plan. The FSA Administration will move from NBS to Higginbotham. The 180/180 elimination period on the disability insurance with The Hartford will no longer be offered. Current participants will be rolled into the 90/90 elimination period option.

- Starting July 15, the call center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Calls are recorded and bilingual assistance is available.
- Get in-person enrollment assistance at the Dr. Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts (1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063)
- July 22–26 and July 29–August 2 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Spanish assistance will be available on July 30.
