Bereavement

In the event employees need to take time off for the loss of a family member, the district allows staff to take up to five days for a death in the family. 

Employees must to use their own available accrued leave (state and/or local) to cover the absences. If no leave is available, the employee will be docked. When entering days in Skyward, please use ‘Bereavement’ as the reason.
