COVID-19 Related / Employer Paid Leave
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act** (FFCRA or Act) expired on December 31, 2020. However, Mansfield ISD has created an opportunity for relief for employees who must miss work due to COVID-19 after December 31, 2020.
Should district employees need to miss work due to COVID-19 starting on July 1, 2021, they should contact their campus nurse/building COVID-19 coordinator. Our Benefits team will reach out to employees in this situation when they receive their information from Health Services. Employees will need to provide positive test results from a qualified lab or doctor’s office. Self-performed at-home tests will not be acceptable.

**The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) required certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions only applied from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
