MISD Student-Athletes to Compete in State Track and Field Meet

After a successful finish at the regional track and field competition, 22 Mansfield ISD student-athletes are advancing to the UIL 2022 Track and Field State Meet.

Students from all of MISD’s high school track and field programs will be represented. To qualify for state, the student-athletes had to finish in the top two places of their region or get third place and earn the lone wildcard spot.

Congratulations to the following qualifiers:

Lake Ridge High School

  • Dominic Byles – 400m
  • 4x400 Boys Relay – Jayden Blakey, Dominic Byles, Jayden Williams, Jacob Alexander, Chris Akins, Josh Trice

Legacy High School

  • Ty Cook – 400m
  • Christine Mallard – 100m, 200m and 400m
  • Jaidyn Robinson – 300m Hurdles

Mansfield High School

  • Nathan Breese – Shot Put, 100m Wheelchair, 400m Wheelchair

Summit High School

  • Kai Bynum – Long Jump

Timberview High School

  • Cameron Bates – 110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles
  • Taylor Fingers – Triple Jump, Long Jump
  • Princess Miller – Long Jump
  • Ethan Moffett – 400m
  • Adriane Nwonumah – 100m, 200m
  • Jordan Sanford – 100m
  • John Ware – 100m
  • Glennis Woolridge- Shot Put and Discus
  • 4x100 Boys Relay – John Ware, Jordan Sanford, Tyler Madison, Ethan Moffet
  • 4x100 Girls Relay –Princess Miller, Adriane Nwonumah, Norah Nwonumah and Lola Mabon
  • 4x200 Girls Relay – Princess Miller, Norah Nwonumah, Taylor Fingers, Lola Mabon
