STAAR, EOC & TELPAS

Mansfield ISD and the Texas Education Agency support parents as partners in the success of their children.

Student results for the STAAR test will be delayed this year statewide due to the assessment redesign. Read the parent letter.

State Assessment Release Dates

Final results will be available at the start of the 2023-24 school year. Anticipated release dates for complete STAAR results are as follows:

• Grades 3-8 STAAR Assessments
  Release Date: Aug. 16, 2023
   
• STAAR Alternate 2 Assessments
  Release Date: Aug. 3, 2023
   
• End-of-Course Assessments (Algebra I, Biology, English I, English II and/or U.S. History)
  • April & May STAAR EOC
    Release Date: Aug. 11, 2023 (preliminary results by June 30)
  • June STAAR EOC
    Release Date: Sept. 5, 2023 (preliminary results by Aug. 2)
     
• TELPAS Assessments
  Release Date: July 5, 2023
   
• TELPAS Alternate Assessments
  Release Date: May 3, 2023

Parents will be notified by Mansfield ISD when the final results are posted in the TEA Family Portal.

Obtaining State Assessment Scores

There are TWO ways to gain access to your student’s state assessment scores:

1.  On the TEA Texas Assessment website by following the Accessing the STAAR Report Card visual instruction guide. Download the instructions.
   
   OR
    
2. Within Skyward Family Access through the Single Sign-On feature which allows parents direct access to their child’s state assessment scores with one click. Download the instructions.
