MISD College Testing Day

Each fall, Mansfield ISD provides free college testing opportunities for high school students. The tests chosen to be administered are among what colleges and other schools use to help determine admissions, areas of aptitude and potential scholarships for students.

MISD College Testing Day 2021 will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26.  Participation in testing on this day establishes a baseline measurement of college and career readiness and gives students an opportunity to preview the tests.

Testing Day
According to the College Board, Tuesday, Oct. 26 is the alternate national PSAT/NMSQT testing day and the final day for students to take the assessment. No additional administrations will be available if students are unable to test for any reason on this final day.

  • Freshman will take the PSAT 8/9.
  • Sophomores and Juniors will take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
  • Seniors will take the ASVAB or Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2).
