Current board members whose seats are up for election or re-election can remain. Interested candidates may apply during the filing period from Jan. 18, 2023 through Feb. 17, 2023 at 5 p.m. To apply and see details for running, potential candidates must visit the Become a Trustee page.

Early Voting

The Early Voting schedule for the May 6 General Election has been finalized. Early voting will run Monday, April 24 through Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Election Day

The Election Day precinct polling locations and times have been finalized for Tarrant and Johnson County registered voters. Election Day is Saturday, May 6, 2023.

• Tarrant County Vote Center Locations - Registered voters residing in Tarrant County can vote at any Vote Center location from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. View Election Day Vote Center Locations
   
• Johnson County Polling Locations - Registered voters residing in Johnson County can vote at their precinct polling location from from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. View the reporting precincts and polling locations

Election Day Results

Results are not official until votes are canvassed. The canvassing of votes for the May 6 election will be held on Tuesday, May 16.

• Tarrant County Results - Unofficial results from each school district will be available here on the Election Night Reporting Tool. (In addition to the Election Night Reporting (ENR) tool which will display unofficial results starting at 7 p.m. on election night, a Cumulative Report is available with updated results every 30-45 minutes.)
   
• Johnson County Results - Unofficial election results will be made available here once all count stations have reported.

The Place 6 seat was won by Dr. Benita Reed with 77% of the votes. Incumbent, Courtney Lackey Wilson, ran uncontested and won the Place 7 seat.
