Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts
Come to Multicultural Fest on April 1!
Join Mansfield ISD in a celebration of the community’s strength in diversity at our annual Multicultural Festival on Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free event, taking place at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts, showcases the cultures represented within the MISD community through live performances, free food tastings and tons of interactive activities for families to enjoy.
You won’t want to miss this uplifting celebration of friends, family and culture! For more information about the event, contact The Center at 817-299-1230.
Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts
The MISD Fine Arts department will host an All-District Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts.
The inaugural event will feature band and orchestra students from all seven MISD high schools. The public is invited to attend. Admission is $5.

Early registration for all 2023-24 pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students begins on Monday, April 3. Registration can be completed online or through a scheduled appointment at your child's campus.

Mansfield ISD campuses and district offices are closed in observance of the holiday. This day also serves as a bad weather makeup day. In the event it is needed, all campuses and district offices will remain open.
Please note, the MISD Police Department (which operates around the clock all year) and the MISD Distribution Center will remain open.

Is Your Child in Need of a Required Vaccine?
Passport Health/Staying Healthy Medical Services will conduct a two spring student vaccination clinics for required back-to-school immunizations.
The second clinic will be held on Thursday, April 13 from noon - 6:30 p.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts (1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, Texas 76063).
All students attending or registering to attend MISD are welcome. For more information about insurances accepted and vaccinations being offered, please download the flyer or contact the MISD Health Services Department at 817-299-6370.
