T.A. Howard Middle School Cafeteria

Mansfield ISD is hosting a safety and security meeting on Oct. 10 at T.A. Howard Middle School Cafeteria (7501 Calender Road, Arlington, TX 76001) to share information with parents and the community about the district’s safety initiatives.

The meetings are intended to answer questions about how the district is providing a secure environment for students and staff.

Multiple meetings will be held throughout the school term. Get the full schedule of all safety and security parent informational meetings here.

Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts

Mansfield ISD will host a Power of Choice Expo on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9:30 a.m. - noon at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts (1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063).

The expo, targeted for students going into grades 3-9 in fall 2023, will showcase the specialized programs within our schools of choice. Interested parents and students will learn more about our STEM, fine arts and Early College High School programs in time to apply for the 2023-24 school term. Registration is not required.

MISD Fall Job Fair Header

Mansfield ISD will host a fall job fair on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts (1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063).

The job fair is targeted towards candidates looking for positions in the auxiliary and paraprofessional field. This includes student nutrition workers, custodial staff, maintenance, transportation and instructional paras, to name a few. Campus and department representatives will be on hand to conduct on-the-spot interviews.

Registration is highly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. To get registered, please fill out this form.

In an effort to promote more two-way conversations between the Mansfield ISD School Board and the community, the MISD Board of Trustees will host a community conversation meeting on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts (1110 W. Debbie Ln., Mansfield, TX 76063)

Attendees will be able to address members of the school board with questions and concerns and receive direct feedback.

Mansfield ISD will host its second annual WonderFall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts.

The free outdoor community carnival for all ages will kick off with a parade followed by family fun activities that the entire community can enjoy.
