SUMMER TAKS testing 2008 If there are any questions as to whether or not a student is eligible to take the test, please contact Brian Massegee or the counseling office. Students will test at Timberview High School beginning at 7:15am. Any out of school students should plan to be here by 7:00am in order to complete necessary paperwork. ONLINE TUTORING/ other TESTING ASSISTANCE 12 POWERFUL WORDS and other Campus-Wide STRATEGIES According to Larry I. Bell, students should have the goal of learning and applying his 12 Powerful words in order to reduce test anxiety and improve performance in the class room Parents are encouraged to reinforce the understanding and use of these words in order to accomplish this goal. Students have been heard referring to these words as CASH WORDS because they enable students to achieve much more success in all areas of education. All students, across subjects, are also expected to master the concept of chunk writing in order to promote critical thinking in the classrooms. This cultivates intelligent thinking and reasoning skills.
