During the month of May, we will be having Study Hall on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5:30-7:30pm in the Library. It will be limited to the first 40 students that sign up each day. We will be having upper classman tutoring as well as teachers for all subjects. If there are any students that need community service hours, please contact Mr. Mac in F-2 for more information. Study Hall is also a great opportunity to take care of your D-Halls or Saturday School. Remember you must have school work and must use your time wisely or you will be asked to leave. Take advantage of this opportunity.

Horas de estudio para el mes de Mayo
Durante el mes de Mayo estaremos teniendo unas horas de estudio cada martes y jueves. Estas horas de estudio serán de 5:30 a 7:30 en la biblioteca de la secundaria Summit (Summit High School).Los estudiantes tendrán que inscribirse y traer sus materiales y tareas. Habrá un límite de 40 estudiantes cada día. Habrá tutoría disponible (tutoría con compañeros, profesores ayudaran también y padres tendrán la oportunidad de participar). Por favor comuníquese con sus estudiantes acerca de horas de estudio. Dual Enrollment Changes for 2008-09 Academic Years
· Tuition per course will be $50.00 plus college fees.
· Tuition for students on Free/Reduced lunch will be $0
· Textbooks will be provided by the district to all students and be the property of MISD. Students will be issued a textbook for each class and will return the textbook at the end of the course.
· Pre-calculus will be a year long course and count as one year towards the students math graduation requirement
· Sociology, Psychology will be added to the TCC course selections
· On-line government course to be added (fall semester only)The on-line government class will be offer first and last block of each A/B day. Students will be required to attend class every other week on a Friday to meet with the instructor. Students who do not have access to a computer from home may complete all their work on district computers in their schools libraries.
Government will be offered in the traditional setting as well as on-line
