Following are scholarships that are now available through our office. Please check deadlines on each scholarship. Also at the bottom of the individual scholarships you will find scholarship sites that can be accessed for much more scholarship information. Let us know if we can be of any help!

NEW: Name: 2008 Reagan Legacy Republican Women Scholarship
Requirements: Graduating female who is attending public school with the boundaries of Mansfield, essay about illegal immigrants

Name: All About Education $5K Scholarship

Burger King Scholarship
Amount: $1000 scholarships available to all eligible seniors
Requirements: Easy on-line application, maintain a 2.5 GPA, work part time 15 hours a week, involved in community service, demonstrate financial need, plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college in the fall

Name: Need a Life Scholarships (American Legion )
Requirements: There are several to choose from. Need to come look through the book to see what you qualify for.

Name: NFB YEF Young Entrepreneur Scholarships
Amount: $1000
Requirements; Graduating Entrepreneurs who have demonstrated entrepreneurship through a personal business, spirit or initiative

NEW: Stars for Tomorrow Scholarships
Qualifications: Top half of class; qualify for financial assistance (being at or below the attached family income threshold
Amount: Up to $4000 over a maximum of six semesters

NEW: TABE Scholarship for Future Bilingual Educators
Amount: $1000
Qualifications: Seniors who plan on pursuing a bilingual teaching certificate in Texas. Transcript of 75 or higher, 3 letters of recommendations, academic achievement and must be bilingual

Name: Texas Engineering Foundation Scholarship
Amount: Will award $100,000 of scholarships to students studying engineering in accredited engineering colleges.

Amount: $10,000 per yeara
Requirements: Study engineering at Texas Tech

Amount: $500
Requirements: Completed entry form, essay, GPA of 2.5

Toyota Scholarship
Amount: Can be up to $20,000 over a 4 year period
Requirements: outstanding academic record, effective leader, well-documented records of service both within and outside the school setting. While academics plays an important role, the overall impact will be the student’s contribution in the area of community service.
Deadline: Must have in to Ms. Herod before leaving for Christmas break

Name: University of Houston Scholarship

Texas PTA Arts in Education Scholarship
Requirements: Graduating senior, applicant must be a member of a local PTA in good standing. Must be on the list of the Texas PTA Office at time of application. Also must have participated in the reflections program and the environmental programs while enrolled in school. Must be going to enroll full time in an accredited college or university - complete application
